The Client
Tucked away in the woods of a small college campus, but just minutes from metropolitan Knoxville and its airport, arriving at RT Lodge through the peacefully winding lane makes it seem a world apart. Owned by Ruby Tuesday, Inc., RT Lodge offers a one-of-a-kind experience for corporate retreats, weddings, meetings, and private dining.
The Challenge
RT Lodge needed to reach an audience of regional meeting planners for corporations as well as brides-to-be. The site needed to be beautiful and relaxing like their location, but it also needed to provide users with all necessary information about meeting spaces, menus, and amenities.
The Solution
DMGx started with beautiful photography from the RT Lodge and built a web site around it, so that the juxtaposition of nature and luxury for foremost in the audience’s mind. The first step was to organize all of the information such as room dimensions and menu offerings into an easy –to-use taxonomy. DMGx then applied RT Lodges branding and imagery to this site architecture. RT Lodge also needed a content management system so that they could easily change information or post news updates. DMGx constructed a custom, PHP-based CMS for them that controls virtually every piece of content. The resulting web site has greatly increased RT Lodge’s online visibility and led to an increased number of bookings for meetings and weddings.
