All four entities needed a strong web presence that highlighted the unique strength of each as stand-alone entities while simultaneously demonstrating the immense synergies of being part of the Blalock Companies family. Another project challenge was that over time, each company had gone in its own direction (or lacked direction) when it came to its online presence. 

To tackle this challenge DMGx started building from the ground up.  The foundation of this effort was consolidating all four companies and their respective URL’s under a new group site, blalockcompanies.com. Next, individual company URL's and content URL's were re-directed to the appropriate location within the new group site creating a “multiple front door” approach. This method allows users to easily find what they are searching for on each company site while simultaneously learning about related services that other Blalock companies offer. The innovative content management tool that DMGx developed allows existing employees within each company to manage their respective content on the group site. Content managers can also collaborate, share and display content on the other company sites when appropriate. The site consolidation and re-organization that DMGx executed has also lead to a tremendous benefit for Blalock's online visibility. With each business adding new content updates to the new consolidated group site, the visibility of all participants has been dramatically improved with thoughtful Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
